Romantic Meets Playful: A Blush-Filled Wedding at Sage & Social
We had the pleasure of designing flowers for Lindsay and Gunnar’s early summer wedding, a day full of love, softness, and the prettiest shades of pink. Lindsay had a clear floral vision: peonies, and lots of them. We were more than happy to deliver just that — with garden-inspired designs that brought both elegance and romance to their celebration.
Bridal Details with Soft Summer Touches
Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Oregon forest, L + G’s wedding at Sage & Social felt like a breath of fresh air—lush, joyful, and deeply personal. Tucked just outside the city, the venue offered the perfect escape for an intimate celebration beneath the trees.
The bridal bouquet was a soft, romantic statement: a garden-inspired gathering of ruffled peonies, delicate sweet peas, and trailing greenery in shades of pinks and blush tones. Designed with sustainability in mind, the bouquet—like all of the florals that day—was created without floral foam and featured a majority of locally grown blooms. Every stem was chosen with intention, resulting in florals that were not only beautiful but also deeply rooted in the season and region.
Throughout the day, there was a palpable sense of ease and connection. Guests laughed freely and the couple glowed with happiness. From the floral-forward ceremony design to the peaceful forest backdrop, the wedding was a beautiful blend of elegance, sustainability, and natural charm.

Ceremony: A Floral-Filled Focal Point
To frame the couple during their vows, we created two large ceremony arrangements in garden-inspired shapes using peonies, roses, and foxglove, to name a few. Set on white pedestals against a modern neutral backdrop, these statement pieces brought softness and focus to the space.

Inside the bright, modern venue, we designed long tablescapes using clusters of bud vases and strands of vining greenery. The minimal-yet-floral look kept the space feeling light and inviting — perfect for a summer dinner party vibe.

Final Touches
From the bride’s peony-filled bouquet to the floral accents on each table, every detail was designed to feel garden-inspired, airy, and full of joy—just like the couple themselves. Ceremony arrangements framed the moment with softly arching stems and a playful mix of blooms, while the reception featured sweet little bud vases that encouraged conversation and connection. Sweet peas, delphinium, and foxglove danced among ruffled peonies and garden roses, creating a floral story that was both romantic and relaxed. Each arrangement echoed the surrounding landscape and the couple’s easy, genuine love—thoughtfully styled but never overdone.
